Brief
Brand development and advertising campaign back in 1985 at PL&N. The image in the ad was created by taking a shot of the man at the desk and then some filing cabinet pics. B&W prints were produced and comped together on art board, with some hand re-touching, from which a master tranny was produced!
Sort of thing that would take 30 mins in Photoshop today.
Deliverables
Microscribe Business Systems provided a unique data storage solution to the Banking Industry through writing records to microfiche. This seems prehistoric in todays tech led world but was cutting edge at the time. PL&N developed the brand, designed and produced stationery, and ran a press campaign through banking industry journals and magazines
Results
The brand, corporate theme, and printed literature gave Microscribe the tools they needed for their in-house direct marketing. The press advertising supported this and the associated direct mail campaign. The business saw much early success and take up but was to be overturned in the years to come with the tech revolution in data storage. One for the history books!
